Possible OAA Realignment 2010

I would realign the OAA into four divisions with Oxford coming in. Three would have six teams and the fourth would have seven.

OAA Red: Clarkston, Lake Orion, Pontiac, Troy, Troy Athens, West Bloomfield

OAA White: Oak Park, Rochester, Rochester Adams, Rochester Hills Stoney Creek, Royal Oak, Southfield, Southfield Lathrup

OAA Blue: Auburn Hills Avondale, Birmingham Groves, Birmingham Seaholm, Bloomfield Hills Andover, Bloomfield Hills Lahser, Oxford

OAA Gold: Berkley, Farmington, Farmington Hills Harrison, Ferndale, Hazel Park, North Farmington

The Red and the White would be determined by enrollment (six biggest in Red, next seven in White). The Blue and Gold would take the remaining schools and divide them geographically, with the Blue containing the northern schools and the Gold containing the schools along I-696.

12 days is way too far away for the Adams-LO game. Royal Oak should be fun this week...will get to watch a bunch of backups I know play for the whole 2nd half. But still...Adams-LO is where it is going to be at. Myself and other students will make sure the LO student section is ROCKING for that game.

Until then...anyone have anything OAA related to talk about?

Adams Football Back on Track

Adams recovered from a tough loss to Clarston in a BIG way this week. Dismantling Rochester Stoney Creek 49 to 8. Adams showcases a great running game and spectacular defense. QB Hammet much more comfortable this week and displaying abilities that can take Adams to the promised land. Big O line providing more than enough protection and controlling the line of scrimmage. Defense is big and physical may spearhead a championship run again this year. Adams freight train rolls into Farmington High next week this game should be a better challenge for the Adams defense both teams come into this match with 1-1 record.

Week One:

SOUTHFIELD-LATHRUP @ ROYAL OAK: Royal Oak should be better this year after getting a good QB transfer from Bishop Foley. Still, there's not much else going for the Ravens. Ill give it to L,O for now they are the CHAMPS , but Lathrup is the team to beat . The O- line will be back,the QB Brandon Petty will be better,the staring WR Montrel Robinson will be back half of the defenes will be back and the best back in the league maybe in the state will be back in Justin Davis.
