Well I would not have expected you to have known that. They are way over by Lansing an there enrollment is something like 300 so chances of you having seeing them is pretty slim I would guess.

Baseball is baseball. Football is football. Area baseball teams use the old english "D" (I know U of D Jesuit uses it for their baseball teams), yet when it comes to football, people don't really think of that logo.

Plus it is limited to schools that start with "D." I think this would be cool helmet for a Detroit High School. ..... I would go with the white over the orange I think (depending on the uniform)
