I think the parity is very good in all divisions. It may take a few years to determine what the top division is, but I have a feeling there won't be one
consistently. A lot of the mediocre teams will get a boost from the studs that come through every so often.

South: You can count on Canton and Glenn to be playoff contenders every year. Wayne and Franklin have been so-so, Plymouth has been ok for a young school and
Churchill has been bad, aside from 04 and 07.

Central: I think Novi, Stevenson, and South Lyon will continue to be playoff contenders. South Lyon did split, but SL is growing and both schools will be fine.
Northville is mediocre, Salem is a little less than that, and East is new, but will grow to the level of SL.

North: Hmmm. Western is obviously a contender. Lakeland has been bad but is getting better. They will also find this division much easier than the KVC. Central
and Mott are mediocre, Kettering is not good, and Northern will rise...

I have to agree here, I think top to bottom Central is tougher than the North, you have to think Northville would easily have done what Mott did, and that
Salem probably would've been close to that don't you?????

If you take those bottom six teams I tempted to list them this way.

1. Northville
2. Salem
3. Mott
4. WLN
5. Kettering

That "1" in Salem's 1-17 came against none other than...WLN, of course. One of Northville's three wins the last two years came against...WLN.
Of course, one of Northern's three wins came against Salem, but they also beat Glenn a couple years ago. (Don't know if that speaks more about WLN or
Glenn.) Kettering and Mott being in the OAA Pink the last few years has bolstered their record. Saw the "Captains" on film last year and one word
came to mind: yikes. They've also been beaten by a so-so Flushing program by a combined score of 98-0 the last two years.

Well, I'm giving Mott a little credit since they have made the playoffs the past 2 years out of the OAA D3.... It's to be seen how that translates

Is that including SLE for the Central, you can't count them.

I also like how the joke that is the North Division is getting exposed, the 6th place team in the south might very well be in the top 3 in that division.

If Michigan-Football is correct, SLE is playing
Varsity ball in 2008 ... so I think you have to count them.
I'm not sure if the North is as bad as you make it out to be ... but at this time appears
to be the clear #4 division in the KLAA.

I voted for the South as well ... somewhat a tough call, but top to bottom gotta be the South going in...

As much as I enjoy seeing the "RED" divisions compete, the KLAA has a nice setup the saves some travel time and will put all the top KLAA teams in
the playoffs on a yearly basis.

I'm sure the teams are happy with this setup for that reason.
