Denard Robinson will likely be moved to wideout or corner if he converts to another position (Depending on his speed), and Feagin will see time at wideout.

Tate should be a four year starter with Devin Gardner redshirting his first year and starting by time he is a RS Sophomore.

But this is a lot of speculation for so far into the future lol.

I think Tate will be a good QB as well ... I have a feeling as soon as Devin Gardner comes in Denard Robinson will officially be moved to another position.

It will be interesting when Gardner get's there if Tate can hold him off .... Tate is likely further along as a QB today, but the ceiling is so much higher with Gardner.

I agree with the 7 win prediction (unofficially) ....

I think Tate will work out nicely, if not maybe Denard Robinson will become the next Pat White.

Michigan will be ok this year, im sure they wont be no 3-9 team again, if so Rodriguez is definitely on the clock.

7-5 is a very safe pick right now judging from the talent that UM has picked up this year.

Hopefully for Michigan fans that Tate is more willing to compete for PT than his older brothers ...

The oldest Jason has left two schools already (Michigan and Stanford) and the middle son Chris just announced he's leaving UCLA.

Rumor also that Cone had a broken bone in his hand. No significant spring practice for him. Not that he would have seen the field anyways.

Tate, it's all on you buddy. We'll see if he can last a full year.

Just heard on the radio that Sheridan suffered a "serious leg injury" .... should be interesting to see what comes of that...

Could be left with Forcier, Cone and a bunch of athletes who "could play QB"

He's not exactly built like a tank, but he could spend some time in the weight room. --- by the way Kevin Grady looks like a beast --- if only he could hold onto the football.

As to Forcier's size and durability, how does he compare to his brothers in size. How did they do at the major college level?

Don't forget Jeremy Gallon as well who played QB in a spread single wing type of offense in high school. They could also use him there in a pinch.

I will go on record as saying that I believe Tate Forcier will be a very good quarterback at Michigan ... and will be the guy to eventually bring them "back"

As a recruit
Chris Forcier 6-3, 185 (looking at the high school photos, very thin)
Jason Forcier 6-2, 205

Either way I don't think either of them has done anything in college (so far) .... even if Chris and Jason don't make it ... I think Tate will.

I thought Jimmy Clausen was thin as a freshmen (6-3, 207) ... and I wasn't sure he'd stay healthy (and he didn't)

In that system Forcier will take both the blindside (while passing) and straight on (while running) .. it's not like he's not going to throw from the pocket like any other QB, he'll just take more hits in the long run adding the running aspect.

I DO think he'll be "the guy" at Michigan .... Looking at him it just seems he would have benefited greatly from a...

He should be fine, blindsided hits in the pocket are MUCH worse than taking hits while running the ball. Even if he goes down Michigan is a little more stocked with suitable replacements than they were a year ago.

To be honest I never really paid attention to how big he was ... so it was a little surprising to me to see him ... Listed at 6-1, 185 ... which may be accurate ...

Given the look test I would think closer to 6-0, 170 ...

Is his size a surprise? What was he listed as?

Maybe UM is starting to get huge and he only looks tiny in comparison.

I don't have a good picture, since what I saw was a video from spring practice .... but this kid looks tiny....

It would be huge for a kid like this if Michigan were in a position to let him have a redshirt year to get stronger/bigger.

Should be interesting .... I'm not sure he can last the full season if he takes a lot of hits running the football.

Thank God for Forcier that Michigan in the only program in the nation that has a legit strength and conditioning program this days since they hired Barwis.
