Id keep an eye on a underrated chippewa valley team. last week they did get dominated by dakota but had many key injuries( NG playing at about 70% due to
injury, two DB's injured and with one playing with a torn acl). The CV team is coming into a season with a new head coach with another new offense and a
new defense. Look for them to be a spoiler down the road after they work the little kinks out that are left. They have the talent to be a good caliber team.

So I would venture to guess that Hudsonville will make an HM note for this week, having lost to the #3 team on your list, and putting 29 pts on your number
 18 team in a win?

Edit: Save yourself the trouble. They play Rockford this week.

1 of 2 is true about Hudsonville ..

#1. Hudsonville is actually down this year (as most thought) and Lake Orion let them back into that game ... or possibly LO is overrated
or
#2. Hudsonville is as good as beating LO showed ... and CC is just the class of the state by far this season.

Usually even when a game is lopsided between two good teams ... I can usually see something in the loser that tells me they are still a good team, and just
having an off night ... . such as when I saw East Grand Rapids get handled by Lowell last season ... I still knew EGR was a very good team.... I didn't see...

Ya... In case you didn't notice I still like Muskegon but dropped them a little due to some concerns ....

I'll still say Top 8 ... But I'm keeping an eye on #8

There's quite a bit of OK Red, CHSL Central and MAC Red in my Top 10 ... Which stands to reason I have serious doubts that many of my Top 10 outside of
possibly EGR will finish 9-0. ... But even then there's Lowell .... Should be fun.

I would concur...........except I might stop the SCOOTWAG list at 7. Saw musky play yesterday and they were, um, not the Muskegon we've come to know.
Plenty of talent. But, against any good, disciplined team, they'd have come up short yesterday. The OK Red sched will sort this out, or maybe they'll
put it together. Either way, good job so far this year.

When I went to prepseer's blog earlier in the day I could have sworn that he listed Canton at 1 - 1. So one of you is wrong.

Could be right in the end on EK... and I may have jumped the gun ... .... but I'd put their two early wins up there with any (2-0) team right now ... so I
think it's deserving based on what's actually happened this season.

It's still early and we don't have much to go on ... but EK is off to a nice start.

East Kentwood is ranked WAY too high. They don't even belong in the top 25, let alone #11. Their total lack of defense will hurt them against Rockford,
Muskegon, Grand Haven, Grandville, and maybe even Jenison. Caledonia was a good win, yes, but just like last year it was a shootout that went back and forth
all game, this year EK just happened to end up on the winning end and it took OT to get it. I don't even consider Inkster a quality win considering their
defense is just as bad, if not worse, than EK's.
