Week five already and there is a number of teams already needing a big win in order to keep their playoff hopes alive (like Muskegon Oakridge to name one). But this list has many of the usual suspects from our annual post-season competition. So many of these games could go either way that picking fifteen of them right would be good in my humble opinion! As homer as I am, I don't expect too many Marine City MAC Gold games to make the "games of the week", but I did expect their big rivalry against Marsysville to make it, on tradition alone. You break my heart, Searn.

Most of these are like 60-40 bets for me this week.........so, good picks, Searn. The two that are gimmes are DCC and Lowell.....IMO. And, although I can't argue with the game of the week (it is), the second most intriguing matchup for me on this list is the Marshall v JLC game. I would love to see this one. Last comment....this week is arguably the biggest game for Grand Haven in like, 50 years. Given this school's size and the fact that it is not in an impoverished or inner city area, there is really no excuse for the level of mediocrity that has characterized GH football for, well,....forever. This is their chance to make a statement. Win this and the OK Red is theirs for the taking. Lose and they return to the pretenders list.
