I had posted last week that I felt the top 3 teams in D1 were pretty interchangeable and even, and questioned why SHS seemed to be the consensus #1.

Well, the new AP polls are out, and looky-looky - it's a 3 way tie at the top. I somehow doubt that's ever happened before in any of the classes at the
top. Thank God we have playoffs and not some BCS formula to try to determine which of those should play for the mythical title.

by anybody except for Brother Rice (24-7 score, but 10-7 early in 4th quarter). And I would also like to take CC +14 against anybody in Michigan, including
SHS.

For what it's worth ...

Looking at this going into the playoffs .... I would say CC beating SHS in 1997 would be a much bigger upset at the time than if CC beats SHS in 2009.

Back in 1997 people thought it was Rockford, SHS, Troy and then everyone else. .... this year CC is at least part of what is considered the elite D1 group
(SHS, CC and Rockford this year)

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Multiple replays in the press box proved he was in.

For the record, at the 2:00:57 mark of the video, is the 4th qtr, 4th and 12 TD play that was taken away from Dakota. That was a great TD catch that Deandre
earned, and some poor officiating. You can clearly see Deandre Smith scored a TD, no doubt about it. Herman Moore doesn't have any doubt either.

I think the playoff rematch would be another classic game.

passes.... and you have a close game..... I was sitting on SHS side about the 35 yrd line....looked like the receiver was in bounds to me in the end zone.....

What would yours be, Tommy? I looked at their rankings, and they're are some things I don't agree with - specifically CC being #5. I did my own, trying
to factor in actual performance with where I actually think they should rank. I wanted to put East Kentwood at 10, but between causing calls of "West side
bias", they have 2 losses.

1) Catholic Central

2) Rockford

3) Stevenson

(To me, these are the obvious top 3 teams at this point. You could easily switch the order around. Is there something about Stevenson that makes them the
consensus #1 to everyone in these rankings?)

4) East Grand Rapids

5) Canton

10) Mount Pleasant or Dewitt (tie)
