It gets confusing when a school is in one city, but in another city's school district. Examples include Sterling Heights/Utica Stevenson, (Plymouth)
Canton, Plymouth/Canton Salem, and Grand Rapids/Ada Forest Hills Central/Eastern/Northern (usually referred to without the city at all).

Another question, has a team ever won a state title playing nine league games in the regular season?

I don't know. But there are at least two of them in the semis this year.

EDIT: I don't see a non-MAC team on Dakota's schedule from 2007.

Who is Utica Stevenson? Is that supposted to be Sterling Heights Stevenson?
Same thing. Stevenson High School is located in Sterling Heights, but is part of the Utica School District. I see it listed as either "Sterling Heights
Stevenson" or "Utica Stevenson" in many places.
