It could be 40 - 0, 40 - 2, 40 - 3, 40 - 4, 40 - 5 (forgot about safety plus FG), 40 - 6, 40 - 7, or 40 - 8. What if we wanted to predict that it would end up at exactly 49? It wouldn't be over or under LOL!!!!! Some of my scenarios are doubtful, but you need to include them in your all inclusive analysis. Plus the winning team could score more than that and the opponent getting blown out by more points.
