Since the week one meeting between these two, OLSM has played an absolutely brutal schedule. BBR, DLS, DCC (twice). Does this help the Eaglets and make them "battle tested" or hurt them and make them worn out? East on the other hand has cruised through everyone. Including D2 Finalist Lowell. I think the EGR Defense will get the job done again.

Three Rivers QB Aaron Spence and the rest of the wildcats Passing Offense picked a good time to have an off game. Better last week than this week for sure. And what about Marshall? They have sure come on strong since that week five loss to Jackson Lumen Christi (35-0). Three Rivers hadn't played many Smash Mouth Power Run teams until Swan Valley last week, a game in which they won 14-10. But I also doubt Marshall has faced a Spread team with the talent and weapons the likes of Three Rivers. I'm going to guess that Three Rivers run Defense is better than Marshall's Pass Defense. We'll see….

I think SHS is a little dinged up, and they are giving up too many points. The Defense of Detroit Catholic Central has only given up 54 points all year. I'll go old school with this pick and take the Power Run game and the strong Defense to get it done, even though they'll give up more points than their used to.

Inkster's Defense has given up 290 points this season. But only 10 in the last two playoff games. I'm impressed with Inkster's ability to get to the final's but unfortunately don't see the results being any different this time around.
