UM beat Washington in 2002 so the streak isn't nearly as long as you make it out to be.

I think Michigan comes out and gets it done after last weeks wake up call. Plus if it rains, Michigans running game will fare better than the Ducks passing
game. Oregon was probably planning on coming into this game as a huge underdog against a 1-0 and highly ranked Michigan team. Now some of that intensity will
have worn off due to UM's loss.
Michigan falling to 0-2 at home to start the season? Say it aint so. |

Most of those games lost were far away from the Big House. With that said, I would still take Oregon. People are giving App State too much credit. Michigan
was awful. They have far more then a weeks worth to fix.

If Michigan was not properly motivate for App St... then they will be this week for Oregon for sure. Michigan has the talent to win big, and I'm thinking
they in a shootout .... 42-31

Michigan is absolutely awful. App State isn't the only I-AA team that could beat Michigan.

MLive U of M Football forum is just going crazy. I posted a two line reply and it was two pages back when it posted. Listening to Jim Brandstatter - he's amazingly upbeat. They are 'highlighting' the showdown between Mallett & Claussen next week. |

Was it me or were ABC's announcers actually enjoying this a little bit. The disappointing look on all the Michigan fans said it all today.

baligian, we must be looking at different polls since all the polls last week that I looked at, UM was unranked (not in the top 25). So to claim UM was overrated going into the game is a little ridicoulous. I only wanted to set the record straight when you inflated the amount of consecutive PAC 10 losses. To say otherwise is misinterpreting my post. In the UM vs. Appalachian State post I said that UM could be in for a long season: I even told Searn before the season began last year that UM would most likely rebound from the 2005 7 - 5 year. Can we get another LLLLLLLLoyd Carr post going?!!!!!

Ever heard of a false favorites? I have and this was a typical false favorite game. UM gets more national recognition than Oregon does so of course the
bettting public will overreact and still make the Wolverines a favorite in the game. The smart money was on Oregon. One of my simpler NCAA systems had Oregon
covering on the road.

In case people are interested in watching the game again or for the first time for people such as myself, the game will be replayed on Monday at midnight on
ESPNU to be followed by the Indiana vs. Western Michigan game.
The number #1 question that I have is will ABC have the guts to broadcast two 0 - 2 teams in week 3 on national TV? MSU game is on the Big 10 Network right now in case there is anyone on here currently.

When the two 0-2 teams happen to be Michigan and ND.....YES. This game will get a lot of attention for all the wrong reasons. One of these very proud programs
is going to be 0-3 to start the year. Two Freshman QB's starting. Should be interesting. I think Michigans D will make whoever Notre Dame's QB is look
like a star.
