This would be all well and good except for one thing.
MI HS players don't compare to other states. Just ask the experts on the Circus formerly known as Mlive. |

|
As important as it is to recruit your state, Michigan is not a major hot bed of talent. Not that we do not have talent, but typically we do not have more than 25 players commit to play football at a major conference school and no more than 60-65 total DI recruits. That said State getting 6 of 10 thus far is impressive and should give them a platform to build from. Other players that I think might be catches for Michigan would be Dion Sims at TE, Cameron Gordon at LB, S or WR. I also thought Shamari Benton and Justin Semmes would be quality recruits for Michigan. Benton as a safty, and Semmes as a Fullback. |
