Shrine looks to have a big O line, a potential D1 RB, and a QB who may have college potential. Shrine was young last year and should get better with age.

Sorry, ez, but unless Shrine's RB has done some serious improvement, he's not a D1 back. He plays in a weak league, and was still a no-show against
teams like Grass Lake, Allen Park Cabrini, and NDP

Shrine ducked Grass Lake last year in the "crossover" game. Or it was the other way around. Either way, Shrine should have played Grass Lake in the
"Crossover". That's the way the schedule worked out.
If it would have gone the way it was supposed to, the D6, D7 and D8 playoff brackets would have looked different. The loser in the "crossover" mess ended up being Waldron- who was not supposed to play Shrine. They ended up losing, and dropping to the four seed in their district, causing them to play the better Parkway team on the road, rather than Redford Covenant- at home. Parkway smoked Covenant in the regular season. Waldron lost to Parkway by one point, after losing their tailback to injury. I use quotations because it's not a crossover. |
