You can repeat falsehoods all day long but that won't make it true. Also, the description "whitewash" comes from the direct headline the Milford Times used to describe the game. Since you apparently are keen on avoiding reality, I guess you must have avoided all newspapers last week.

Lakeland has had no call to do any sniveling the last two years. It's called contentment.

So, your definition of ranting is pointing out that the score could've been much worse? Until responding to your posts, I've never said anything negative about Milford EVER. The only reason I brought up the poor calls was to illustrate how absurd your stance had become. Overcoming bad calls is a source of pride and illustrates positive team play. It also deflates silly claims of yardage comparison, especially since the wrong stats were quoted.

You're the one that was being confrontational making absurd comments and trying to insinuate that Lakeland was running up the score somehow. Tell me, in your mind if Milford wasn't being dominated, why come here and ask for mercy in a two score game? You can't have it both ways. In reality, throwing one late pass to salt a game away isn't running it up.

First, don't cut and paste in an effort to distort and misquote someone.

Second, since a sportswriter said "whitewash," that automatically makes it so? Because sportswriters know oh so much about the game of football. Not to mention that the writer is from the highly acclaimed Milford Times.

Third, just because you say the calls were bad doesn't make them so. And just because you say the stats were wrong doesn't make them so.

Fourth, pointing out unsportsmanlike behavior isn't asking for mercy.

Fifth, go and check opponents' winning percentages before you use records as comparison. Lakeland played in the cushy North while Milford had to contend with the West. The only team from the North to win the crossover in week 8 was, of course, WLW over Milford. Lakeland is the better team than Milford (and not by much), but not because they're 8-2 and Milford is 5-5.

Lastly, the absurd thing that all you Lakeland posters come on here and do is make opinionated claims like "domination" and treat them as fact. If you know the game, you know that wasn't domination. Domination is 42-7 with double the yardage. A 40 yard advantage in offense while being +2 in turnover margin and only a two score game with a few minutes left is far from domination. If that's Lakeland's idea of "domination," then that's why you're Lakeland. You all also came on here and talked about how you "dominated" Howell in week 8, when that was far from the truth.
