ok im sorry colonel, im a little frustrated with you right now.
first of all
as i understand it, your a milford fan.
but yet you didnt go to the game when your obviously within a 20 minute drive from the school to see a quality game. milford is out of the playoffs, so why dont you support your fellow huronvalley school? i know many lakeland folk that traveled to see the rockford vs. milford game a few years back.
Second of all
Why does it always have to be the team that lakeland plays loses to lakeland?? why cant it be that Lakeland Beat Rice? (i understand thats what the topic title is but im speaking in your actual post) ("I am shocked that Rice could beat Adams and then turn around and lose to Lakeland. ")
Lakeland deserves their respect. theyve made a quality run in the playoffs and are a quality team.
3 consecutive winning seasons gets you absolutely nothing i guess.

I completely agree.
for the most part i think that high school and college football wins come down 1.)to who plays better on a given night, 2.)if their ""stars""perfom like theyre supposed to, and 3.) if theyre at home with the homecrowd or not.

i never saw the shutout coming from lakeland against milford... so maybe they did play their worst game of the season... or maybe lakeland played their best.

im not sure who i would pick as the better team in hartland or milford. chris cagle last year had potential to be a great leader... i believe the story was he transferred from cc after getting no play time. and ive heard he has had a great season.
but milford has the same storyline with kyle podvin who had an AMAZING season, like i predicted in the preseason klaa mvp post... "I feel like you did an injustice to milford, for not placing kyle podvin up there who was an amazing slot last year".... ok so maybe i didnt predict he would have a teriffic season but i recognized him.
i guess i would have to say milford because of the head to head game. i just think howell was a strong team who came in better prepared against milford....
its consistently a good game anyways... i believe over the last 9 years (12 times playing each other) the record is 6-6.

to be completely honest... im SHOCKED that hartland beat howell. while i still think that lakeland could have, and should have, beaten howell. i was impressed by their size, as i am every year... must be something in the water... and thought they were just too big for hartland to handle. but again
