McCabe confuses controversy for quality journalism and as a High School columnist, that's idiotic. At this time of year, with so many great stories about
teams fulfilling their potential or exceeding all expectations, he really needs to blog about this? If the KLAA had honored five less kids, would that be
better? I'm sure most if not all those kids deserve the accolades. I'm glad the KLAA rewards the teams that finished first with more honors. THAT is
why it's more then fine in my book. This is a non-issue. Why not go in depth with the Musky/Lowell or Lakeland/DLS match ups or any one of the great
stories that are still left?

The way the KLAA does all-conference (which is the exact same way the KVC did, by the way) is just another example of administrators choosing a method that
makes their lives easier, regardless of what's best for the game and/or the kids who play it.

i knew it was the same system the KVC used, however i think with their being more teams the number should be brought down.
you dont have to agree. but i feel like as an addition they should make a first team or something along those lines for each division ( Lakes, Kensington.... not north, south, east, west) o go into a 1st team, 2nd team, HM format so we dont end up with the 9 qb's situation or however many it was. |
