When Macomb Austin comes on board officially, they would be in Intersectional 1. I would move Riverview Richard and Madision Heights Bishop Foley down to the Intersectional 2 at that time to form an 8 team division. This would make two 5 teams divisions for Class A and Class B teams. There would be 1 crossover for the top 2 divisions when this happened. Under my initial proposal though the Big 4 plus UD Jesuit would have 4 non league games to fill since I realize that the Class C schools wouldn't want anything to do with the big dogs on the block. The big dogs probably wouldn't like it either since they would have a lower CPA number.

For varsity football purposes Macomb Austin is still another 2 - 3 years off at least after this school year. Plus anyone have word if Everest Academy going to field a football team out this way in Clarkston? If so, they would start out in Intersectional 2 for a potential 9 team divisioon. I like to do divisions as they officially become on board or you could wind up in mess like the KLAA and their west division.

Here is the CHSL Central division playoffs for week 9 under my scenario:
Central #1 vs. Central #2
Central #3 vs. Central #4
Central #5 vs. opponent TBD

For the lower divisions it would look like this for week 8:
Intersectional 1 #1 vs. Intersectional 2 #2
Intersectional 1 #2 vs. Intersectional 2 #1

Intersectional 1 #3 vs. Intersectional 2 #4
Intersectional 1 #4 vs. Intersectional 2 #3

Intersectional 1 #5 vs. Intersectional 2 #6
Intersectional 1 #6 vs. Intersectional 2 #5

For week 9 winners would play winners and losers play losers in each of the 3 brackets. The CHSL would only need to find one team for the playoffs as well to simplify things.
