Forum Donor	Given the large number of starters that both teams return, the conference title should come down to the Marshall vs. JLC game. All-Searn 2nd Team Posts: 1404 06/24/09 9:29 AM South-Central Mich. Forum Donor	I believe Marshall will have about 16 starters back from their 2008 squad. The Wimberley brothers both return, one at TB and the other at DE. Their offense is very run oriented, and their defense is very aggressive. You'll see a pretty good team in the trenches, and expect them to run the ball alot. Marshall should be in for a very good year, and Hulkow is a very good coach. Don't know how much you will see at the scrimmage, but they are a physical ballclub, so I expect them to look decent. I do think they have to replace their QB, and he was quite good and could throw well, so that might be their biggest challenge. "The common man revels in HAVING WON. Freshmen Unranked Walkon Posts: 1 06/24/09 9:30 AM	I think Marshall should be pretty good this year. They return most of their starters from last year. One big question mark is who will be their QB. I'm not sure who the backup was last year on Varsity, I don't think that he hardly ever played. The JV starter was decent but I don't know much about him. I haven't heard if they have competed in any 7 on 7's yet this year so I guess time will tell. Of course Christi should be the team to beat in the league once again this year.

All-Area Posts: 519 07/30/09 11:46 AM South-Central Mich.	JLC and Marshall are probably going to be the top two teams in the Division this year. BCC is going to have to figure out how to move the ball without Larry Caper this year. Lakeview and K-Central are expected to be better this year, along with Harper. Sturgis and Coldwater will get beat up this year for sure... Bring back my show, "The Arena", to Battle Creek, please!!! Call my boss!
