I bet you think I voted for Rice. It wasn't me. Still, I can't believe they don't have more votes. I think they're right up there with
CC--maybe a notch behind, at least until they fill the OL positions.

I'm in line with Prepseer at the top ..
If I had to pick today... 1-a. CC 1-b. BR Close 3rd. DLS Not so distant 4th. OLSM And if UD is competitive across the board they will be well on their way. |

Why do you guys think DCC is the best? I'm surprised Rice isn't gettting more votes.

I think it will be close again like 2008, but CC has the early edge due to experience. |

He does a fine job hanging himself and in my opinion, he hasn't posted anything would call for a deletion yet.
Then again, I can't see his posts unless I click on them, so I don't know what he's saying half the time.

Dallas, do you NOT have the capacity to post serious replys and cogent thoughts on successive days? BiasedGuy was being generous since IMHO it is on almost every freaking day of the year. |

I see some people don't change (DC).
I look for the Central to once again be one of the top leagues in the state. I think it's a toss up between CC, DLS, and Rice for the league champion. CC returns a lot of starters, but other than their running back, I didn't see a lot of speed on the field last year, so although loaded with experience, they will have to rely on long, time consuming drives, but that's nothing new. Rice has a very experienced QB and a game breaker on the outside, and their D will be led by the Pickens kid, which seems like his 6th year playing. DLS returns much of their front line, and will be faster on O then last year, but the big question is the corners on D. They may have the best 2 LB's in the conference. Another fun year of high school football!! |

Welcome to the board BigDVI ... It's about time ..
A lot of good CHSL fans here adding good info these days ... And dallascarter here here for an occational one liner that adds nothing from time to time ... And even once in a while he'll surprise and have a solid, well thought out post. Hope to see everyone here this fall .... |

For Dallas Carter OT | #16 | ||
dallascarter wrote:Hey Dallas, regarding your quip "I'll have to hurt you" Would you care to be more specific? Grow some and answer that. Let me help you. Your folks obvi raised an immature malcontent so they speak for themselves. Your HS alma mater is not respected for the stunts they pulled (amazing how that toned down), and I'm shocked that you actually have friends. And where did I ever say I don't support my alma mater? Did you ever think things like proximity could be a factor? My guess is that I attend as many of my HS alma mater's games each year as you do yours. Some things never change. Do they Dallas? We can always count on your brilliance to brighten the world. |

BG, and when i say BG, i mean "Big Guy ;-)" (i still think you are really cute!!!)
when i say hurt, i mean i wil come through your computer and beat you with a pipe wrench A-Ha style. i said that once, but i think this boeing character is letting the power get to his head, kind of like obama. that's why everything i say gets deleted. and we also can't say "terrorist attacks." they are now called "man-cause disasters." i LOVE this guy!!!!! and i picked OLSM to win this year because it just feels like one of those years where no one thinks they can do it, so they do it. it happens often, but no one really gives them any credit. instead, you people are too shallow to realize what wins games in high school football. so there. poopy poopy poop. |

Well done DC. You doing a back peddle shows that you are more than just a functioning brain stem. But it's a matter or record now.
Do you honestly think the guys on this forum are too 'shallow' (poor use of the word...you really have given up on the English major) to understand that HS FB is a game of intangibles? I don't. Still, if I had to bet on a series of games, I think you could do a lot worse than this forum's regulars for input. Anyway, that's the stuff to concentrate on, from your post Dallas...the last paragraph. It actually contains some HS FB content. Again, well done. |
