The only one on this list close to Muskegon's talent level is Inkster, Musky has the most legit shot and its who I voted for. Even with a new HC the
players will still be good, its only a matter if he gets the most out of them. The only team that will beat Muskegon is Muskegon IMO. But I wont sleep on
Brother Rice, DLS, and Inkster either.

I dunno, Davison with Emmendorfer at the helm is very interesting. His NL team that he won a title with did some very interesting things offensively so I am
interstested to see what he does with the talent at Davison.

I'm not as sold on Muskegon as others seem to be. While there will always be talent in the Musky program, you cannot underestimate the impact that the
loss of several key players and the head coach from last year's team. It will be a while before Jason Hannett can be replaced. He was a dominant force on
both offense and defense. Anthony Davis, Jr. was a game-breaker as well. And, Elan Banks, ran the offense from the QB spot flawlessly. I was wrong last year
when I predicted a down year for Musky vs. 2007. One reason for my prediction was that I was not aware of Banks. I figured that it would take a while to
replace Chris Crawford. Well Banks was the real deal. Is there another Crawford/Banks waiting his turn. Or will there be growing pains at QB. To me, that
will tell the story of the 2009 Muskegon team. But, throw in the loss of the RB tandem of Hannett and Davis and the HC and I don't think you can make
Muskegon the favorite in Div. 2. I'd much rather have Inkster's roster than Muskegon's. However, I do think Muskegon will be better at the end of
the season than at the beginning. So, a playoff run is more likely than a high early season rankiing.
It's a plus for Musky that the new HC is from Annese's staff and is familiar with the offense. But, there will still be growing pains. If there were a strong nucleus of players returning, the coaching change would have less impact. To overcome the loss of so many key players and the HC will not be as easy as many are predicting. I'll probably still have Musky in my Top 20, but there will be a number of Division 2 teams ahead of them. |

It was supposed to be a while before we replaced Fulgham, In stepped Leggitt, It was supposed to be awhile before we replaced Leggitt, in stepped Hannett.
Same thing at QB. It was supposed to be hard to replace Ruud, in came Crawford, same thing Crawford to Banks. By the way Ruud was the best of the three in my
opinion. I am not worried offensively at all at Muskegon. The machine is in place running full bore. They have kids down to 7th and 6th grade running the
offense so really offense is no big deal. Plug and play really. If Muskegon has any issues or growing pains it will be on the defensive side of the ball if
any.
p.s. wait until you get to feast your eyes on Justin Means. You heard it here first.

Once again, Muskegon is re-loading. Four of five O-line returning, Davis will be a Senior, and the competition at QB is "down" to five players!!!
New HC ran the offence last year so no problem there in my humble opinion.

I agree, Muskegon is reloading but you have some facts wrong. Muskegon will return 3 of 5 offensive lineman, Anthony Davis graduated and I'm pretty sure
Keys will be starting at QB. Muskegon should be pretty good again if they can play as a team and stay focused. I definitely wouldn't count them out as
far as a title contender.

Saw Muskegon in action today. Didn't look very coachable to me. Hope I am wrong. I was very impress with them the last several years.

yes... i was a homer and put a vote in for my team.. Caledonia... Luke Wiest running the wishbone offense (with a hint of spread here and there) has me
thinking this could be the year that the Scots can get over the top on Lowell... lots of talent back on both sides of the ball... 3 years starters in the
backfield, O and D lines, and the QB has lots of promise my friends... keep your eyes on the Scots this year!

I was on the chain gang last year when the Musky JV team came into EK. I think that Big Red JV team could have defeated most varisty teams inthe OK. Yes, they
were that good. Size, speed, talent alt all positions... it shoud be another great year to be a Big Red.
GO EK! |

The Muskegon Big reds has a excellent running back by the name of Justin Means he's about 5′7 and runs a 4.39 also is very good in
track. Univ. of North Carolina, Univ. Of Nebraska, & Univ. of Michigan has show Interest in him… i heard he's thinking about transfering to Muskegon
Heights to b along with Willie Snead III & his son Willie Snead IV who came from Holland Christian (state champs) looks to be a very good combination…
