Would St. Clair Shores be better served by having 1 maybe 2 High schools?

The fact of the matter is that all the St Clair Shores teams have never been very good, Lake Shore had a run 1973 thru 1980 with some decent teams. I dont expect much better out of any of the teams this season. I am not sure if closing a school would solve the problem. |

i agree, they defintly would have better teams, also save money. I do not think that the people out there want it though?

Well for not having much in the way of success the last few years the new Lakeview HC is certainly getting alot of time on the big board (Mlive) these days.
Anyone out there who can rationally weigh in on what all the fuss is about over this hire/fire?

Not sure. They made the playoffs in 05 then just fell off the map. I believe they have not had much consistency in the HC and staff over the years.

Seems South Lake has some talent walking the halls, but have little motivation to put forth the effort to improve or better themselves. I think it is silly
that SCS has 3 different school districts in a cithy that size. That's 3 people doing the same job accross the board.

Exactly DVI. Talk about wasteful spending especially the high cost of administrative positions for each one of those schools. If they did combine to form one
school they could probably be competitive in football especially if they didn't play in the Red.
