In recent memory memory, CC most potent passing attacks came with the following QB's and their respective recievers.

Kay,
You are probably right, I believe Don Slankster was on that Adam Tubaro team. He was their TE and caught a lot of big passes that year. Remember that late TD pass Joe Jonah caught in that snow game at Troy? That was my favorite CC Team...a bunch of great kids that worked hard and believed in themselves. |

CC's back to back title teams in 97 and 98 both featured a great passing games (for CC's standards) --- both Tubaro and Lusky threw for approximately
1,200-1,400 yards on the season.
Tubaro had some great targets such as Slankster and Brzezinski at tight end and Joe Saah and Joe Jonna at wide out. Lusky had Brzezinski back as well as a solid #2 tight end in Matt Loridas -- and Derek Anderson (big td catch against Rockford) and Jason Woehlke (big td catch against Troy) and Justin Cessante out of the backfield/wing. |

Foggy, that playoff game v Troy was a total enigma. I remember bringing an out of state relative to that game, after describing to him "CC" football
and the smashmouth ground game. The snow was coming down in barrels, yet CC comes out throwing the ball. Not just throwing, but throwing it vertical with great
success. What a great game! Go figure! lol
Foggy and Blue - CC's tight end have typically been where they have thrown the ball successfully, which is why I did not mention the above names (Brezinski, Slankster, etc.). You could fill pages with the success they have had throwing to the TE (Kosmowki, Gilbo, Wandzel, McGrath, etc, etc, etc, etc) It was in the years that I mentioned above that they had success throwing the ball vertically to their wides, which we all have to admit is "out of the norm". If memory serves, Hauncher also had equal success throwing the deep crossing (dig) routes, ie the playoff game v Sterling Heights. |

<<<<<<<<<<<< If you recall them, please list the ball handlers for the 2000 team that played Ike in the Semi Finals at Groves (?) Didn't that team feature a passing attack? edit: "handlers" |
