7 on 7 out in South Lyon was last weekend. 16 teams there and the KLAA competed well. The ugly was when Franklin and Plymouth played each other. Plymouth did not have helmets for what ever reason, therefore, whoever played them needed to play without helmets. The ugly started when both teams started to play full contact in the heat of battle. The result was a Franklin player getting hurt. This is unacceptable this early in the summer and wearing no protection. It was sad when it had to end with Franklin's coach pulling his players off the field because of all the fights breaking out. Plymouth's coach and one player did apologize for the teams actions. I'm sure week 5 is marked on both teams calendars. Franklin's passing game looked very sharp except they appeared a bit over matched when playing Farmington Harrison. They played well against Orchard Lake, Plymouth, Schwartz Creek and South Lyon.
