I mean really...Its bad enough that the WWAC blows....Adding another joke of a school will only add more fuel to the fire....No disrespect to you Clarenceville
fans...But geez....

Interesting... Sounds like the Metro Conf is done.
Mr. NCAA had mentioned two of their private schools to be affiliated with the CHSL next year. |

My only response Tommy, is where else is Clarenceville supposed to go? They do not want to be independent. They want to be in a league. They do not have a lot
of options in terms of schools in the area with the same enrollment. That are real thin on options here. It's not like the Metro was good football. I think
this is an upgrade for Clarenceville in terms of their historical Metro games.

I just see running clocks in most of the games..Even against the lesser teams...Maybe im wrong, I dont know...But bad move for the WWAC...GREAT move for Clarenceville... |

My internal sources say this move isn't going to happen. It was looked into for C'Ville to join the division with Redford Union, Thurston, Garden City,
Robichard, and Annapolis. C'Ville will end up being independent.

I also heard that Inkster and Highland Park are threatening to sue the WWAC for not letting them in. They may actually be part of the WWAC next year.

Highland Park should lose their case since they are surrounded by the city of Detroit and they aren't suing to go into the Detroit PSL. So how can they
really claim that they were discriminated against? However, the courts do want they want nowadays and don't pay attention to facts like that anymore.

Mr NCAA wrote:Why should they go into Detroit? Why not ask why they were excluded from the WWAC instead when they were part of the Mega? Why should they go to a league that keeps losing and losing and losing kids, teams and schools? Why wouldnt the WWAC be more beneficial for them...I mean, I guess those facts mean nothing.. |

One reason is that the school isn't located in western Wayne County. Why have a team that doesn't fit the description of the league? They are
completely surrounded by the city of Detroit so that is why HP should go into the PSL. So tell me why they should go to the WWAC instead of the PSL based on
geography?
The Downriver league was part of the MEGA as well so why didn't they sue to join that league as well based on your argument? |

I hope Inkster and HP find a league.
To me leagues are formed when similar schools of like goals, standards, how to run a league etc. Get together and decide to become an organization. Not all schools fit together which is why leagues split, teams leave, etc. For whatever reason Inkster and HP were not in the plans ... I can't see a team getting along well behind the scenes if they are an odd team out... They should find leagues where they are both welcomed and where they want to be. |

Based on the MHSAA SEN numbers, HP lost almost one third of their SEN from 2008 to 2009. So how dare you point to the PSL alone in losing students.

Highland Park should join the PSL, especially now that the PSL has an odd number of teams with Chadsey closing last year. Hamtramck could also end up in the
PSL.
Who are going to the CHSL from the Metro? Cranbrook and Lutheran North? Inkster would be a much better fit enrollment-wise in the WWAC than Clarenceville. I could see Clarenceville, Ecorse, Harper Woods, and River Rouge forming a conference. |
