MHSAA Football Stats

John Hulsebus has now added non MHSAA teams to his website. That's all what we need to keep track of things on there instead of forming a separate list. Plus I am still waiting on John to add the 1950 - 1952 Lenawee County scores that I emailed him in June and then he has time for this nonsense. Well, where's my scores that I emailed you with?BTW don't ask me to help you if you haven't posted things that I've helped you on in the past. John is just the one that gets discussed the most by me since people go to his website the most. Aowwt, Up-footall, and I forget who else that I've helped in the past and didn't updated their websites after I have given them material. Why ask for help on your websites when you don't put it on your websites? The latest for aowwt is that Sterling Hts. Stevenson isn't located on the street that is on your website FYI.

Mr. NCAA, you take everything way too personal.

It's not your site...it's his site. How many people are on there every day looking for scores from Lenawee county for 1950-1952? Nobody...

Adding non-MHSAA teams? Very good. Definitely not "nonsense"

They might not look at the scores on there, but don't tell me that website is accurate in how teams on rated on there when Morenci moves up over 30 - 40 spots on the all time winning percentage list on his website. So yes, that's why it is important. This way John isn't treating all the schools the same when he has information that says otherwise. His SEN numbers are wrong on there over the years since he didn't include the real football co - op SEN numbers on there before.

All I'm saying is don't take the information in the yellow on the main page seriously.

Plus on 11/10/50 according to what I found out according to the Adrian Daily Telegram Adrian CC didn't play Litchfield so John has a wrong score on his list.

KleShreen, you do know that Morenci's second longest winning streak in the state includes the time period that I emailed John with. To omit that is a major mistake on his part. If you seriously think that home school scores compared to the some of the second longest winning streak in the state scores is more important, then I am done with predictions. I'll just do my own from now on and leave it at that on here.

Then why does John have the following on his own website? My game results cover that time period. Basically I emailed him 3 or 4 times during the summer asking why the results weren't added and never got a response back from him.

"Announcement: If you have historical game by game Michigan high school football results from 1950 through 1954 seasons and would like to share these results with this web site, please email me at ... (John's email address) Thanks!!!!

BTW as for my website, I am not updating it until I find some way to do PHP and MySQL database work. Right now I would be spending my entire time on the site working on it to keep it updated and I just plain do not have the time or stress to do so. Giving me info always helps and I can update the home file on my PC but until I get someway to do the database work on the site so all I have to do is change the database and it updates the site I will not be updating the site. I made that decision a year ago after struggling to update each page by hand. With over 620 teams its not possible. I talked to a few people but have not received any communication back. In anycase I am pretty sure my info is somewhat out of date but its better than having nothing which is exactly what you would have since SpartanRaider site went offline.

Because it is far easier to criticize what others do than to actually do it yourself.

Is that why you were asking what happened to the average division breakpoints in 2006 in the stat area since it is easier to just let other people to do the work to produce those type of things on here?

NCAA, I'm not doubting any of your information. However, my problem with this is that you are attacking the guy for omitting pieces of information that not many people outside of yourself and maybe the people who went to those schools care about. He is doing a FREE SERVICE by having his site up with so much information on it. If you don't like what he has on there, then start your own site and put more information up. Nobody is stopping you from doing that. But to attack the guy and insult his work just because some Michigan high school basketball or football score isn't correct from 1950 is a disgrace. You need to step back and take a chill pill.

Basically I have lost interest in helping John getting more new scores on his website. I think that the problem might have been that he wanted me to do the UP first while I was more interested in Lenawee County scores since I knew about the Morenci winning streak a long time ago when Hudson was in the process of producing a new state and national record at the time. It took me all day on Saturday to gather those particular scores. That's because I read about some of Morenci's games. If I would have done it John's way that he wanted me to do, I would have missed several scores as well besides being costly for me. Plus I would have never found almost all the scores to the Adrian vs. Monroe rivalry, which is important to me.

Based on the attitude on here, I will probably just produce my stats for myself from now on.

No. You're not getting it. Nobody cares about the fact that he didn't put up some score you sent him. The problem is that unless everyone treats everything you say like gospel and the most important thing on Earth, you're upset. Stop being such a d*ck to everyone about useless information.

Don't respond to this with anything related to football or basketball in any way. It's like you can't even grasp the concept that the world does not revolve around Michigan HS football.

MrNCAA, whoever convinced you that berating, self righteousness was an endearing quality was doing you no favors. When you throw out zingers like "he has time for this nonsense" and use the word "stupid" to denigrate someones examples or opinions, it's not likely to meet with a favorable response.

I don't know why John hasn't returned your emails but perhaps a clue lies in your telling, in which he asked you to help in a certain way and you wanted to do it a different way because "that is what you were interested in". You ever hear the phrase, "Sorry I asked!".

I, for one, truly appreciate John's work, regardless of it's "imperfections". The same goes for every other bit of HSF stuff on here from all the others. Thank you one and ALL.

michigan-football.com is a great resource that I refer to often. I too tried to let John know, via email, that he had the date wrong for the OLSM vs CC game this Sunday. His site shows the game on Friday 10/2 when it is actually on Sunday 10/4. I sent him a short note and the Catholic Central link showing the date of the game for verification, to no avail. oh well...

MrNCAA, could you point out to me an example of the non MHSAA teams you are referring to in your first post?

MrNCAA, could you point out to me an example of the non MHSAA teams you are referring to in your first post?

I think he's speaking of the Michigan homeschool football teams/etc. from different areas in the state.

I asked for the information because my PC crashed and I did not have it any more. Also when I asked for the information in no way did I criticize what you were doing. Frankly, in my opinion MrNCAA you have done more to drive people away from this site the last few seasons than you have done to bring them in. People are growing tired of your grumpy old man attitude. For some reason you find it necessary to verbally attack people that do not share your point of view rather than having a civil discussion. Tone it down and relax, just because someone does not share your same point of view is no reason to fly off the handle.
