I'm a proponent of the small pins. The black outline makes them easier to see, IMO.

I'd favor the larger, except in the situation where there are many HS close together on the map. In that case the smaller pins seem better as they allow
you to see more w/o zooming.
I know. Way to fence straddle. Right? |

Thanks KleShreen and BiasedGuy. Your two comments pretty well sum up why this poll is here!
For the Conference page on my site, I needed more than eight different colors, so I was happy to find the "more stylish?" pins. I think they work really well there, but they are harder to differentiate when close together (check out the yellow district in D3). So, for kicks, I reverted back to the old pins yesterday, and also thought the black outline helped. Maybe it's much ado about nothing, but I thought I'd throw it out there in case there's a big preference either way. Keep the comments coming if you have something to add. I appreciate constructive criticism, comments, suggestions, etc... about things other than pins too. I won't promise to use every idea, but I'll consider just about anything. Maps, Brackets and More:

I don't have an issue with either one.
If had I had to pick I'd go with the smaller ones. .... makes it a little easier to see when there's a cluster of teams in one area. |

I like the smaller ones...easier to see IMO which helps when looking at clusters of teams. Either way, I still look forward to the playoff projections every
week!

Thanks to everyone who voted or left a comment.
I'm going to switch back to the small pins, at least for now. My biggest drawback that nobody mentioned is how similar the yellow, orange and brown pins look. I might make a couple of new colors to replace one or two of those. Maps, Brackets and More:
