Rockford is the smart pick. I picked Muskegon and was surprised to see I was one out of eleven to do so.

Musky needs this one bad. Maybe the Big Reds show up motivated this week? Or maybe they just dont have "it" this year.

The Big Reds are a year away from being a great team. Rockford should have no trouble winning this game. Actually, I think Rockford may be overrated by many. They are very beatable this year and far from a lock to win Div. 1. I think the east side has three teams that are better. Rockford may not get pjast the Regional this year.

D3 AP poll: #6 Lapeer West at #5 Linden. Both 6-0 both for the Flint Metro Title.

Oh and I don't think the Country Day v Powers game will be any good, powers is highly overrated.

I just noticed this morning that I missed the Linden/LW game .... the winner of that might make the push towards the Super 32 next week... or at least be very close.

Heading into the 7^th game stretch and a number of teams are looking to solidify their post season positions. I picked some additional games to keep picking twenty-five each week. Should be fewer upsets this week but as the season has gone along, I believe there are only a few top teams and a large number of teams that are just a game away from being either contenders or pretenders. Have fun!

Game of the Week
Rockford vs. Muskegon - This is my alma mater and I will stick with them even though there is something missing on this team. Perhaps a visit by Coach Tony would wake them up?

I was one of the two votes for Muskegon, and now I'm leaning towards Rockford. It's been raining here all day and the field will be sloppy I'm sure. I think that might help Muskegon more than Rockford? We'll see.....

I picked Rockford 18 - 15 over Muskegon.

MHSAA Football Stats

After KleShreen's comments that he thinks that home school football is more important than some of the 48 game winning streak scores, I decided to discontinue the picks on here and said so during that thread. I wasn't doing to redo the pre made spreadsheet once more for this year. My predictions are to the right of that and didn't list them since it is irrelevant to which teams that I made the predictions for. I made my list after Searn did so there wasn't any pressure to get it done by a time certain as well. One of the games that Searn missed was Gladstone vs. Escanaba.

Im shocked that powers beat DCD, is Country Day that bad??? from what i heard, they were small and didn't have many kids.

Big win for Linden in the rain, beat a better than expected West team.
