Nope... this was just a down year for them. Picnkney had a better team than most gave them credit for... and certainly a better type of offense for the mud pit
they played on Friday. Novi had injuries at some key spots...especially QB, and that hampered them most of the season. That said, they should be much improved
next year.... although I'm not sure what will happen at the QB spot.

I never saw this coming.
I know Novi was beat up pretty good on offensive injuries. I think the coaching staff is great and always gets the most out of their talent, so I guess I expected them still to pull the win. QB next year is still in question, but it is a year away kids grow and mature hopefully someone steps up. |

does novi plan on putting one of their random athletes from their roster at QB or do they have a potential starter from JV

Novi has a fantastic QB at the JV level, Derek Ince, who will be coming up to varsity next season as a junior. He'll compete for the starting job, and I
think he has to be considered the favorite right now. Novi's JV team went 7-1-1 this past season, and lot's of sophomores played on varsity this
season, so the class of 2012 is very strong. Expect Novi to redeem itself next season.

I see Ince and Haynes as possible QBs next year. Lots depends on whoever the new coach is.

Good to have you back fella's. Tough year for Novi. We have all been there at one time or another. I was unaware Novi was shopping for a new coach.
Anxious to hear who it is.
