I don't get it... originally, I thought the plan was for everyone to use a single hash tag ... something like #MHSAAFB
By doing that, then I can set it up to simply search twitter for this tag and no need to subscribe to 100's of accounts. |

I agree regarding hash tags Gents. However, I only remember to use them 10% of the time, if that... and when I check scores, I'm the only one posting to
#mhsaascores if that is indeed the correct locator. This weekend... I'm going go back and see the percentage of times I actually remember to add the tag.

If you can train folks how to post... you can certainly train them to use hashtags.

I tend to agree with Searn, since I only follow other HSF score posters, that is all that appears in my thread window. So, I don't have to search for anything. Also typing an extra #MHSAASCORES on a phone is tedious. Also, Wreckit had a good point in that many folks are doing this from a standard cell phone in text format. They can't search for scores with hash tags. I would say that for the remainder of this year, my vote would be to continue doing it this way. Let people get their feet wet. At the start of next year we can to do a poll to see how most would rather enter the scores and then adopt that method as the standard approach. My 2 cents.

just joined the twitter group this week and loved it. my phone was blowing up with scores all night. wished I would have had it week 1 in playoffs lol
