Didn't this website slam people for having an east side bias earlier in the year? So nothing but west siders can make his all star team.

WTF, the website is called "WestMIAllStar.com" and the team name is "West Michigan All Star Team"...why do you freak out on everyone who
doesn't do things your way? Baffles me. We should probably ban the Freep and DetNews from doing their "All metro teams" or whatever the hell they
do since West MI kids aren't allowed.

KleShreen, it just seems to me that the website has a double standard when they called out people for their east side bias. I haven't seen Tom or Mick call
out people for having an east side or west side bias like this website did. So whoever runs that website shouldn't cast stones that they themselves
don't follow. When I made my prediction list, I didn't care where the teams were - only wanted teams from good conferences with winning records after
week 2.

I think WMA does a nice job with the website. They don't hide their west-side bias, and they shouldn't have to.
However, west-side bias comes off as arrogance when it's posted "in your face" on a forum that's geared toward east-side or north/central discussions. I have no problem with the Detroit papers doing Detroit Metro rankings, but I wouldn't expect to find them listed on a West-Michigan forum. Maps, Brackets and More:

I don't have a problem with it ... it's a blog ... blogs generally express opinions on various subjects .. ... right or not the author apparently saw
bias and expressed it.
If it was called the "All-Michigan Team" and it was as posted then there might be an issue. |

I want to apologize to Mick since I forgot that he produces an All State Team that includes non metro Detroit players on it. I think that Tom does one like
that as well.
