Dakota vs Ike, Romeo vs Clarkston, SHS vs Warren Mott.
Some interesting matchups, I know Dakota really wanted a rematch with Ike. I expect another very close game between these two, as is usually the case. Getting Ike at home should be an advantage for Dakota this time around. These two teams have twice played for a district title, Dakota won both meetings. In 02 21-19, in 04 Ike was undefeated and ranked #1 in the state when Dakota knocked them off at Ike 24-13.
Romeo has another huge challenege to take on for the second week in a row a 9-0 conference championship team on the road. I'm sure Clarkston has not forgotten what Romeo did to them last year in the playoffs. I have to say I like Romeo's chances after their performance last night.
I would suspect SHS will roll over Mott again, but Justice Wright may be injured, and the offense seemed a bit out of sorts without him last night vs Roseville. If Wright does not play I think Mott could keep it close. Mott will be fired up coming off the school's first ever playoff win.
