There's always debate on what's the 'best' offensive system ... Let's see a breakdown of what systems and styles we will see at Ford Field?

EGR: Predominantly Pro-Set with two backs in the I, double TE and single flanker. They will spread to 3, 4, 5 wide if needed and last week even ran out of the
wildcat once.

Montague will be in shotgun most of the time. Usually 4 wide with a RB.

Hudson runs the straight T, unless they get down big to TCSF you won't see them throw more than 4 times in the game.

Lumen runs the same stuff Brogan always runs lol
Single back, I formation, Shotgun, whatever gets the job done I guess. Expect to see running from them though, got a great RB and QB isn't too shabby either. And when you think you've got them contained Brogan will call play action and rip you apart with a long pass. Fun team to watch. |

Everyone knows CC runs the "line up, run it for 4-5 yards, get up, do it again."

Here you go.
Div 1 DCC pretty much power based T formation offense. Not THE T but a T formation. Div 1 SHS Multi formational offense gonna be passing based this weekend with the top 2 running backs out with injury. Div 2 Lowell Multi formational veer based offense usually pretty balanced. Div 2 Inkster spread based offense that is looking to get its qb some running room to run and gun. Div 3 EGR Pro Style power based offense that will pass when it needs to with probably a 70/30 run pass ratio. Div 3 OLSM last time I saw them they were heavily wing-T based. coach Porritt seems not to be married to any one system however. Div 4 Three Rivers Spread offense that features a pretty balanced attack. Div 4 Marshall (team I am looking forward to seeing) These guys run a power based wishbone offense. Div 5 JLC runs a pro style offense that will feature more running than passing. Div 5 Clare runs an I formation power based running attack. Div 6 Montague runs a spread offense that is basically pretty balanced with a big play passing game and a power based running game. Div 6 MSMCC these guys run THE T but they will stay in the T formation but stray from THE T playbook from time to time. Div 7 TCSF used to be T based, last time I watched them they mixed it up more with some I formation stuff as well though either way its power running for them. Div 7 Hudson these guys also run THE T but they also will stray from the T playbook from time to time and run some double dive and stuff like that. Div 8 CFFP These guys basically run the Green Bay Packers playbook from the 60's power based I formation offense that features alot of power off tackle and the good ole packer power sweep. Div 8 Beal City over the years has been a combination of THE T and the delaware wing T so it will be interesting to see what they bring to the finals this year. <a href="http://s90.photobucket.com/albums/k245/marinercoachkk/?action=view¤t=singlewing.gif" target="_blank"><img src="http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k245/marinercoachkk/singlewing.gif" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> |

BR -
Didn't see Marshall run much wishbone against JLC, but then again, they got behind early and passed quite a bit. Lot of I formation stuff when I saw them. Whatever the case, it looked good in the finals. "The common man revels in HAVING WON. The champion finds his satisfaction in WINNING." - F.H. Yost

Yeah I noticed that in the finals too. I had a buddy of mine send me two tapes on Marshall and I watched one of the games on mhsaa.tv and they were all
wishbone all the time. They ran some wishbone in the finals but only here and there not as a base offense. They ran for 485 in the game though so hey it was
all good and they ran a nice fullback trap from the I. BIG fullback too.
