Not sure how Inkster is going to do with that CHSL Central schedule without Carter and the tranfers he has been bringing in.

Does anyone have a link to prove this? Coach Carter is the Inkster bb coach as well so is Coach Rogers from Pontiac giving that up or is Coach Carter not
going to coach basketball now?

Coach Carter isn't the basketball coach, Coach Sheppard from DePorres is. About the coaching change though, I haven't heard nothing, but I wouldn't
be surprised as the superintendent went to Ponitac in the summer for the same job.

Well im not here to try and spread false rumors or anything.. I have been told by a few coaches in the Inkster area that Carter has left. There were kids who
left Melvindale for Inkster and tried going back to Melvindale when they reportedly found out Carter was no longer at Inkster. If anyone has any hard evidence
to post it would be great.

I guess that I was wrong, but Coach Carter is/was Inkster's AD as well so he was in a dual capacity role at Inkster. So did the Pontiac AD retire as well?

I find it interesting that it isn't mentioned on this link:

Surprised that this has not yet broken in the Freep and News, if it is indeed true. This would be a huge blow for Inskter, and a nice get for Pontiac.

I emailed Tom Markowski to see if he can confirm or deny this rumor. He replied that he'll check into it.

Can you post the online article since I can't locate it for some reason? If he used Coach Carter's name in the article, I think that it was his way of
lettimg me know that he is still at Inkster.
Thanks, Mr. NCAA P. S. It was very hard to find out which team won the Auburn Hills Avondale vs. West Bloomfield boys basketball game the other night, but finally was able to find out who won. The WB AD didn't email me back like I had hoped for so I had to make multiple phone calls to get to the secretary who gave me an approximate score. Avondale won according to the secretary.

Thanks for the link. The way that Snyder phrased it though by saying "his high school coach" instead of "Inkster head football coach Greg
Carter" doesn't really give me a clue to whether Coach Carter left for Pontiac though.

Basically I was more interested in the substance in the article since I could have sworn that I read that Gardner wasn't enrolling early at UM earlier this
month on the News or Freep.

I also thought Gardner was unable to enroll early at UM because he didn't have enough credits to graduate early from Inkster. He must have found some
credits somewhere. I'm sure it's all on the up-and-up.

That's great quoting the Twitter page with no source on it.
I've been having fun with facebook yesterday and today. I am now down to 11 people to check out. A ton didin't make the cut so the list can be reasonably managed somehow. I need to take a break from typing since I have been making too many typos. |

Mr NCAA wrote: Sorry if it doesn't meet your approval, but that twitter account belongs to Tom VanHaaren. He is a recruiting analyst/reporter for MGoBlog.com, founder of a recruiting service called "U Recruit" (http://www.recruitforu.com/) and he's a regular contributor to the Bleacher Report (see his profile at http://bleacherreport.com...10577-tom-vanhaaren-jr.) He's not just another anonymous internet myth-maker. If he says that as of 1/17 (date of his post) Devin Gardner is enrolled at UofM, I'm more than likely going to believe him. Further, the freep article I posted also says Gardner is enrolled. All this despite the ESPN report that he missed the enrollment deadline. |
