If I was Denver or Houston I would try to get him in the 3rd or 4th round. Those are probably the best fits for him in the N.F.L. now.

I always thought Mike Hart was a better/stronger version of ND's Darius Walker.... who also ran a slower 40 time (4.55) at the Combine. and was expected to
go in rounds 3-5. Walker went undrafted, so I'll say Hart in the 5th or 6th round.
Walker caught on with Houston and was cut, later was brought back and I believe started the last couple games of 2007. (due to injuries) In the final 3 games Walker had 218 rushing yards and 47 rec. yards, so finished the season strong.

You are asking if Hart's tadpole fanny will be able to cash the checks his alligator mouth writes at the NFL level. Great heart in Mike Hart so hard to
judge. Some of the local sports guys (see forum poll thread) were suggesting he will have a great career.......
.....in the CFL.....or Arena League. At least I think they were joking. |

I think Mike is a "system" back and if he gets in one of those good zone running systems like Denver is and Houston is becoming then he will be
just fine. In those systems its not about 40 time or size its about vision and cutback ability and he has those.

I just hope he will be able to stay healthy to have successful NFL career. With the amount of carries he took at Michigan, his senior year started to show
signs of his body breaking down with the injuries. I think that is going to be the big factor on what team takes a chance on him. They know what kind of player
he his, but they are unsure of how much more his body will be able to take.

Mike Hart = Jamie Morris
No I would NOT draft him. I think he should be a free agent for a few years and then get a job on ESPN as an announcer or an analyst. |

I wouldn't draft him at all. I wouldn't want to have to listen to him talk. If he does get drafted, I hope it is really far away, where I won't
have to hear any sort of nonsense out of him. However, he won't be a special teams contributor, he is unbelievably slow, and already pretty beat up. I
don't see him doing much.
