I attended about 2 1/2 quarters of this game..Was an entertaining game to say the least..I love Wayne's stadium and setting..Just beautiful....A couple of
thoughts on the game..First about Mott since they won..
1. They are an OK team..They run a pro set offense with split backs...
2. #23 is their best player..A flat out burner...For some reason though, they tood out their QB and played #23 (rb) at QB....The kid is a horrible quarterback..But he made the big play with his legs to win..A fumble bounced up right to him and he took it 95 yards for a TD....
3. If they are going to continue playing him at QB, they need to work on him throwing the ball and his attitude....He has a horrid release point and most of his throws head downward..He did has a beautiful long throw that was dropped...He also needs to learn not to get down when he or someone else messes up..pounding on the turf and hanging your head will only get your team down when you are a leader...
4. It was the first time seeing Mott for me..I love the powder blue helmets!!!!! To bad the home jersey's are not powder blue....
Now on Wayne
1. If this team had a quarterback they would be very dangerous..Not to knock the kid who played, because the coach put him there. But if the coach has no confidence in the kid to pass, then he should not be a qb...
2. Their runningbacks are beasts...#5 and #36 are both very good runners and are powerful...
3. The defense was very good as well...Some good hits going on...
4. I was impressed by this team..They have the talent to go to the playoffs..With that said, if the same qb plays..They wont make it..
