Watched the Northern MI game vs MI Tech. Tech jobbed Northern. Interesting in that the commentators had discussions with Lloyd Carr, Coach Tom Izzo (in the booth for most of the 3rd qrtr) and on the phone with Steve Mariucci - all NMU alumni. But what was REALLY interesting is that while they had Coach Izzo in the booth and Mariucci on the phone, they talked through the game. That is they did almost no play by play. Did anyone else see that?

Yeah, I caught that as well. I wonder if those announcers just aren't used to chatting with "celebs." The director should have been screaming in his ear. Most of the folks watching that game would be more interested in the game.
D2 has a great product, it just needs to get out there some. Kudo's to FSN D for picking up the feed though.
