First thought is on the spread offense. Gunn has seen alot of teams go to this lately and he is not a fan, i guess its easier and more fun to run out routes all summer, then lift weights, or teach linemen nothing, but their are few teams around that should look back to their roots to how they established a program. in ford field this year gunn thinks you will see more power I, wing T, or single wing then spread teams...
Second great start for the northmen at Petoskey, they are defintley one of my sleepers this year.... good to see em bring in Cheyboygan this week look out for the southfield blue jays as well.
Third, That was a odd newspaper article on Sunday about the two kids... Whats scarier to me is that I was near that location that day playing softball at Hemlock park. the place always seemed a little dark, heres to gunn guessing that the author wants the mhsaa to have some sort of code of conduct statewide, but this unlikely to happen.
Fourth Gunn is sorta feelin sorry for garden city, when they are in the REd the red is unbeatable and they get crushed, now they are in the blue and have to deal with HP, edsel, inkster and Ypsi. They really may benefit from the break up of the mega, and maybe forming a division with the dearborn heights and redford schools.
Fifth heres for hopin for a livonia stevenson Catholic central playoff game this year that we were robbed of last year, by some interesting geography.....
til next time.
