Canton's a tough team to figure out.

At times their defense looks suspect. They'll give up 30+ points and still win by 14. That being said they make plays and get key stops when they need to.

Everyone always thinks they have Canton's offense figured out. Then they look up at the scoreboard and Canton's up on them by two scores. These guys are magicians with ball fakes. The Chiefs don't want to grind you down, they like it when a game turns into a track meet. I think this is where they're a little different than the team that was the state runner up a few years ago. Oh yeah, and they can pass a little bit too.

Not having Favourite, even for a quarter, is going to hurt Novi. He's been a legitimate threat for Novi all season and they're going to need big plays from the running game to pull this win out.

I do think Novi has the personnel to match up well defensively. The real question is, when Canton breaks one (and they always seem to) will they be able to recover and continue to make plays? Canton's offense just wears a team's confidence down.

Howell has been impressive. I saw Canton handle Lakeland pretty easily, so I have to give Howell the nod in that game
