Another nice article in the paper today, this time about the Chippewa Hills team and their bid to remain undefeated and win the CSAA crown.

Chip Hills? I actually like it when "new" teams enter the playoff picture. I went an saw them play coopersville in last years playoff's. You (I)
get sick of seeing the same teams year in and out.
However, Chip Hills Strength of Schedule is very weak. The CSAA is a weak conference this year and with 9 teams, you cant toughen up your schedule,... and better prepare yourself for the playoff's..... with some good non-conference opponents. Stanton has the same issue, due to being in the same conference. These two have owned the CSAA this year. Both Stanton and Remus beat 3rd place finisher Big rapids easily. So how ironic is it that Stanton and Remus will both be 8-0 heading into their week 9 matchup. Give each of these teams a taste of playoff Football and see how they look. Good news is Remus is D4 and Stanton is D5, so they wont meet again in the playoff's. But have their schedules prepared them for lengthy playoff run's, or will it be one and done? |
