Sophomore Posts: 23 10/21/08 11:25 AM	Tags : None I have seen several projections that put Clinton 'IN' at 5-4 For them to get it, that would mean they would have to (potentially) pass the following schools (should they also end up at 5-4) Ithica Cabrini Bishop Foley Lincoln Alcona McBain I know the area pretty well, and I have ran through and projected thier own week 9 game, as well as their opponents, and came up with a final number (including bonus points) of 42.668 Is there anyone out there who knows the areas for the teams I listed who can run full projections on them and their opponents to come up with final averages for them? I'd really like to know if Clinton looks solid or not. I know Auld has them in, I have them out, and there are others how have it each way.

All-Searn H.M. Posts: 775 10/21/08 8:18 PM Forum Donor	I am currently working out a spreadsheet with 10 full schedule POP analysis. In the first projection Clinton popped up to second. Nothing in this group of C teams is solid, all comes down to the teams defeated opponents' victories. I'll keep you posted.

After about two hours looking up records, reviewing pred wins, etc. I get Burton Bentley 43.000 Clinton 42.667 Ishpeming 42.111 then seven teams within a fraction of a point (about 1 opponent victory) Charlevoix 41.889 Ithaca 41.889 AP Cabrini 41.556 Lincoln Alcona 41.111 Morley Stanwood 41.069 Rudyard 41.000 Cass City 40.444 This would put Charlevoix in and Morley out. Both are probably in the same district R1D2. So map is not greatly changed. So is anyone solid in this group? NO. Good Luck. And IF as someone suggested Byron upsets Genesee… it wouldn't change much on who gets in at (5-4). BB would then have a 43.778 average. It would bump Grand Haven out of Div I, move the line up in every division form D2 to d6, and would not drop BB into d VII. But if Holt upsets Davison, then all that is negated. Aarrrgh !!

But if Holt upsets Davison, then all that is negated. Aarrrgh !! So, BENTLEY is pretty much LOCKED in if 4 out of their 5 WINS, win this friday which is what I believe will happen. And you say they are pretty much a LOCK in Div. 6 also??

All-Searn H.M. Posts: 781 10/22/08 12:32 AM Forum Donor	As much of a lock as Clinton Realistically only four locks among all the potential (5-4) teams. Escanaba, Milford, Ike, and Bay City All-Saints. When you are talking (5-4) teams and POP averages in the 40's it doesn't take much to upset the applecart. Byron winning would make them #1 in the 5-4 group with a 46.7, if Flint Beecher looses to Atherton, they are #2 in the group with a 46.2 average, if Merrill loses to Vestaburg then Merrill #3 = 43.333, and Grandville Calvin Christian loses to Kent City but GCC's opponents win ONE more game than Bentley's they are 43.111 and Bentley with a 43.000 is out. Really dicey being a (5-4) team. You need to inspire some more Bulldogs to make it easy by beating Annapolis.
