I suggest we start with Thursday and after Thursday's results are in we can offer thoughts on what to watch for on Friday.

What to Watch For |

AuldSchool and Snooze have done a fantastic job in getting a "favorites win" projection prepared with maps. Now I am interested to hear what the
people smarter than me have to say about what games (if any) coming up this weekend would have particularly notable effects on the potential Divisions and map.
Obviously any game involving a 5-3 team is notable, although it's possible some will be more so than others (e.g., it seems to me that a 5-3 team that is
on the cusp of qualifying for D1 is more notable because a win or loss has cascading effects into all 7 Divisions that follow).

In D4 you have Kingsford sitting at 5-3 and Ogemaw sittin at 5-3 as well. It's being suggested that both of these schools get in at 5-4. So how does it
effect things if they both win and automatically qualify? Does it open the door for two other 5-4 schools? Or not neccesarily?
Not a major question by any stretch..... Just a thought. |

I have Kingsford winning going to 6-3 and Escanaba (now 5-3) their opponent getting in at (5-4). They both get in regardless on mine. So they can't change anything else. Ogemaw winning would put them at (6-3) and that would knock out a (5-4) team slot. Cheboygan has already qualified, so that would not free up a space. It would change an A slot (Grand Haven currently #17 picked) and Ogemaw's #14 B slot would go to Fowlerville, provided they beat Corunna to get to (5-4). |
