With his team scoring a TD to go ahead by the score of 6 - 5 in the late 3rd quarter, Teddy Ginn Sr. decided to go for 1 for Cleveland Glenville. The team
made the PAT despite the fact that the team had problems punting all game long. According to my go for 2 chart, Glenville should have went for 2 especially
since it was a low scoring game and teams need to use the chart ASAP in those type of situations since there won't be very many more chances of scoring.
Cleveland St. Ignatius went on to kick a FG to win the playoff game 8 - 7. SI had scored previously on a block punt safety in the endzone plus another FG. So
how many of you agree with me that Glenville should have went for 2 and how many of you agree with Teddy Sr. to go for 1? I ask this since on mdead we keep on
hearing how much better Ohio is than Michigan is, but if they can't even use that go for 2 chart properly in a low scoring game, I'm not seeing how
coaching plays that imporant of an aspect in Ohio high school football.

Don't think you need a chart when the other team has already proven they can kick FG's. By the way since you keep track, what would you suggest as a neutral field for GR CC vs Kingsford? Any turf up north, but not over the bridge? |

Yeah, I've gone back to the WYSIWYG choice and type in the codes. (Actually keep a template in a TextEdit document that I keep open.) |

Only Wysiwyg choice doesn't work on the main forum for me and does on other forums such as my blog so go figure that one out. Yuku doesn't seem interested in finding out what is wrong with Searn's main forum since it has been a couple of weeks and no action on here. |

Definitely go for two there. I mean, if you dont get it or you only kick the PAT, then a field goal wins it(like it did).
If you get the two, a field goal only ties it. I dont agree with his coach decision at all there.

I generally always kick until later in the game since no one can really predict the future.
But late in a 3rd in a game where teams have had difficulty scoring might count as well. |

Yes, Searn, but weighing the pro's and con's in this one, there are definitely more benefits to making the two, then there are negatives of not getting
it.

It depends on if you think you can score again. If you feel like this might be the only score you get, definitely go for two. If you feel you can score again,
kick it.
