I'm not sure what IC is returning ..... I would have to think it will be a tough game for Brother Rice
Here's some info for those not familiar ... Indy Cathedral | #2 | ||

Unfortunately for BBR, Cathedral is returning its best players next year from this year's State Championship team, including an outstanding running back
and quarterback. It should be a nice home and home series. I'm not crazy about the point of the season when the game takes place (Week 8). These games
should be in the early non-conference season, but the mess with DDC/UDJ opened up games late in the year. It's great to get one of the Midwest powers to
come to Michigan for a game. It should help Rice a little, although Cathedral does travel well. They are used to playing in Cincinnati against the top
Catholic League schools. They also travel to Cleveland. They are a frequent participant in the Herbstreit Ohio-USA Challenge. This could be Brother
Rice's toughest game of the year.
Searn, you'll like them. They have Notre Dame look-alike uniforms. They have a large squad. Very classy program. I don't know if they travel a large fan group. If publicized properly, the game should draw well from local fans here, although time of year might hurt that too. |

Home in '09. Away in '10. The '10 Rice team will be special--with Seniors: Conor and Tyler Hart, Jimmy Pickens and Jumbo Hamilton and Loran
Jaddou. That team should represent Rice very well in Indianapolis.

Perhaps BBR should play the game at CHS to have a nice facility for the out of staters to play at and it wouldn't be that far from my place so I could
attend.

I'm hoping that the game will be at Birmingham Seaholm. It's a nicer venue than Southfield Lathrup.
