Senior Posts: 293 08/21/09 2:57 PM	Tags : None Whether you like it or not im back Stevenson by 7 over franklin i know its a homer pick but stevenson seems better and i really dont know crap about this up coming year northville by 10 over pickney pickney has sucked as long as i can remember and thats going back to the late eighties novi over milford by 4 dont know much about either team just have a feeling on novi s lyon over wl central by 7 see the novi milford post grandvill calvin by 21 over sl east sl east is new and not very good glenn over mott by 7 dont know much about either but figures to be close howell over northern by 21 this one is one of the easiest western over flint powers by 14 i dont think powers is good in football kettering over wayne by 10 dont know much about either grand blanc by 7 over lakeland welcome to the klaa canton over brighton by 10 hartland over churchill by 14

Junior Posts: 216 08/21/09 8:39 PM	Stevenson, a team whose center piece on offense is expected to carry this team far, many people overlook the fact that they have a really good surrounding cast. However Franklin is returning quite alot of good players themselves so i figure this is going to be close. Stevenson by 4 over Franklin Novi is expected to compete for their division and conference, is a very versatile team. Novi by 7 over Milford South Lyon was an average team at best last year lost their key player, so i see them being worse. WL Central by 10 over South Lyon Canton is another team who has high expectations, and they are going to be very hard to beat. Brighton hasn't been good the past few years so this one is easy. Canton by 14 over Brighton Grand Blanc is a team that has alot of pre-season hype lead by a good WR. Grand Blanc by 10 over Lakeland Hartland runs a good spread offense. On the flip side, Churchill ran the spread for the first time last year and we should see some vast improvements. Hartland by 7 over Churchill Howell is a good team each year, and WL Northern is very bad. Howell by 21 over WL Northern Northville underperformed last year so i'm expecting a bounce-back year. Northville by 7 over Pickney SL East was a new school last year and to say they were bad would be an understatement, but I expect improvements. Grandvill Calvin by 14 over SL East Western has usually fielded an impresive team, but dont know much against Powers. Western by 17 over Powers I dont know much about Kettering or Wayne, but i'll say Kettering by 3 over Wayne. Again, I dont know much about Glenn or Mott, but i'll say Glenn by 10 over Mott.

I still think they will win easily just because we have a ton of talent but they are know where near 100%. Everyone might be on the field but they are not 100%. Not giving names for obvious reasons.

Sounds like you may just be hedging your bets if GB doesn't perform up to expectations. If they roll, good. If they struggle, they weren't 100%. I went to their scrimmage because it did feature three of the best teams in the area. GB looked good. It looked like Gabe Martin was on the sidelines and chomping at the bit. I'm betting he's 100% and ready to play. Jones nicked his hand but it looked like nothing to me. Don't look for excuses before the season even starts.

Sophomore Posts: 24 08/29/09 8:50 AM	they had an anomomous (sp?) person willing to donate over 500,000 to the athletic dept about 3 years ago, when all of their freshly laid sod had to be ripped up 2 weeks before the first game because the company that laid it didnt do it right and it never took root. anyways, this person was willing to donate up to about 3/4 of the cost of field turf, and that was his only stipulation, that it had to be used for field turf. in all of the school boards infinite wisdom they declined this persons offer. since then, at least the rumor i am hearing, is that they school board has been on their hands and knees begging for his help on the field matter and he has told them no because he felt slighted that they rejected his original proposal. that school is flat broke, they are constantly battling with the teachers union about laying them off, in the middle of the school year. There are some serious issues in that community, I would never send my sons there. on that note, yes that field is horrible, we played there last year and you could only run outside the hashes. anything up the middle and you needed a pontoon boat and a rescue helicopter to find you.
