Now that everyone is done talking LS and Novi after a 0-2 start. What is the thought of the sleeper Northville Mustangs. Tight game with powerhouse Grand Blanc. THis is a team that will not quit with great coaching. They still have some tweeking to do with the team but will have their best players in place when conference games start.

ummm, lets see they barely beat pickney and now they should be the talk of the league because they lost a close game to a GB squad who turned the ball over a
bunch of times.
hmmm, i still dont think they are for real and never really did. |

GB had three huge drives stalled by turnovers or the game last night would have been over by the middle of the third. Three of our stars seen limited action
after it was 21-7 because of nagging injuries. Northville never quit though. #11 QB should have played the whole game for Northville instead of splitting time
with the other QB....not sure why they were even playing #7 at QB.

GB can use excuses. They knew they had a competitor and had to play their injured running back in the second half. Northville played hard and hit them hard.
Northville has no problem playing underdog!

Northville has no problem playing underdog every game. The coach knows he can win any game and he has the players thinking it also. GB game was alot
closer than what you saw or heard. Turnovers are part of the game and when a competitor hits you in the mouth you rise to the occasion or start questioning
yourself. 81 last night was questioning himself. #1 started to question himself in the 3rd quarter when he was not able to wonder freely underneath.
Quarterback was rattled on interception because he was pressured and no one was open (other than that quarterback was the real deal). Running back was tough
and fast but they never scored in the second half.

The superstars were hit hard and went limping to the sidelines and then had to bring the person really hurt (running back) because the GB coaches were nervous
of who they were playing. Coaches do not like sleeper teams that are willing to hit you in the mouth and do not care about superstars. Ask #81, he was silent
all night until he went limping to the sideline. #1 followed him in the 4th quarter.

Guys...all three have been battling injuries for the past three weeks. Not making excuses but just be glad we were not at full strength. Your boys did play
hard though. I don't think the pressure your D-line was bringing had anything to do with the interception Morley threw. He has started since his freshman
year and he has seen it all. Good luck the rest of the way to Northville!

Either Stevenson or Novi will still win the central. And Northville, considering that it will lose to both those teams, plus the crossever will not make the
playoffs for yet another season.

You seem to have everything figured out. Do not under estimate 2nd year coach Ladeck. He has his team ready to compete each week.

i was thinking the same thing, was just wondering when one of the northville slappies would put a post up about how good they played despite getting their
butts handed to them. after all they are an up and coming team and only lost to a crippled GB team by 7

and they lost by 31 to a stevenson team that "everyone is done talking about" I wonder how bad it would've been if the Northville coach
didn't "have his team ready to compete every week"?

I call it as I is seen. You can see my response from last night. Frankly, as you have claimed before you are associated to GB because you stated you saw
tape right after the Northville game. If you are a coach you need to man up. That was not a crippled GB team. All the stars played. They threw, ran and
tackled like every other kid out there. Great team, never denied it, alot of excuses and no heart does not go far in the playoffs. If you manned up you would
let your team know what I said after hte game on one of my posts, it may help you get to Ford field.

I have to eat that one. I am sure you were at the game. Northville was horrible in every possible way. Taking nothing away from LS, Northville team was
it's own worse enemy out there Friday by not executing normal things in a football game (mishandle punt snap, running out of bounds on 2 on kickoff with no
defenders around, letting clock expire before half on the 1 yard line and not scoring, not kicking field goal in third quarter when it was 4th and 12 and on
and on). After a game like that the rest of the year is up to the kids. I have spoken about heart on this team, let's see if I am right. One of two
things will happen, they step up and take on the challenge or lay a big turd. This is the first time coach did not have his team ready for a game. Anxious to
see how he prepares the team the next two games (Salem and Novi).
