Thanks...as far as thoughts on the Lake Orion vs. Oak Park game, I think that Lake Orion was pretty lucky that they won by 3 TD's. Oak Park had a few drives stall out in Lake Orion territory and the score could easily have been closer. Personally, Oak Park looked better to me than I expected, but Lake Orion played extremely sloppy. The penalties and errors on special teams will eventually come back to hurt them in a game this year if they can't get those issues worked out. Also, the defense is a huge question mark. They gave up huge amounts of yardage to Oak Park, and I can't help but fear that this year's Lake Orion team is like last year's Clarkston team where the lack of defense will eventually be their downfall. Apparently they'll have a good transfer in a few weeks so that could help.

As far as the rest of the season goes, I think Lake Orion can look to blow out Troy Athens and Royal Oak, giving them 4 guaranteed wins. The other 4 games against Lathrup, Troy, Adams, and Clarkston should all be close and after watching games like the one vs. Oak Park it's easy to think they could lose all 4. However you have to remember this is Lake Orion and they know how to win...so I think they'll win 2-3 of those games to get into the playoffs once again. One thing I'd expect for the rest of the season is lots of shootouts...defense seems to have taken a backseat to the offense in the OAA this year.

He moved...apparently he can play db. just figured i'd throw it out there. not sure if it will make a huge difference but some of LO's starters on defense are just not good, to put it bluntly so if the kid is decent it should be an improvement.
