All-Searn 1st Team Posts: 2148 09/16/09 11:44 AM Forum Donor	Tags : None Not too much to say really. Not for this series. Two of the best programs in the state going at it again. Kids know each other. They go to the same girls' school dances. Belong to the same parishes. Live in the same neighborhoodsHead Coaches are tight. Power I FB vs Power Full House Backfield FB. Bigger game breaker threat at WR for Rice, probably bigger gamebreaking threat from CC out of the backfield. Prediction: Another classic and a hard fought, close score in a CC victory. This is one of those games/rivalries that makes MI HS FB so compelling.

CC's offense with the full house back field and giant offensive line was always the hardest offense to prepare for. very dominant. so im guessin CC might win this one. lets just hope that no one gets in trouble celebrating with mr flanders after the game!

Armegeddon is upon us. DC said something positive about a CHSL team not located on a lake. I suspect it will rain toads later this afternoon. Of course, he had to add some cryptic comment about celebrating after the game. Not sure what the could mean.

Senior Posts: 309 09/17/09 12:49 PM Forum Troublemaker	you know, when i came to college, i learned that the catholic league needs to stick together. and i agree with that, except for brother rice. shall the members and coaches of that 2005 team forever rot in hell. i have respect for CC and DLS because they play good football. DLS has played better football than CC as of late, but from what i hear, CC is a much better team, and that doesnt mean DLS is any worse. as far as mr flanders is concerned, lets just say his values are on the other end of the spectrum as ned flanders.

All-Searn 1st Team Posts: 2150 09/17/09 7:13 PM Forum Donor	Diesel. You twittering? Depending upon how the MSU ND game is going, I could be late. Searn, you could be right. I have ND pegged as a likely loss. And following Dan LeFevour for most of his college career I had the CMU game about 50/50 so I was not shocked at all. Damn disappointed but not shocked. Different offense ND presents...more traditional, but better talent at WR and TE = problems for MSU. If not for the CC Rice game we were going to drive down and take our chances on tix. DC - I dialed in on that A-hole (Flanders) very early on. NOT something to joke about. Jakubik and the secondary are going to have their hands full. They certainly are going to get some shots at picks. Frankie apparently throws a few. It's also going to be very interesting to see just how far CC's line has progressed since last season as this is probably their first true test so far.

Freshmen Unranked Walkon Posts: 8 09/20/09 9:26 AM	I'm happy to report the good guys won, 24-7. CC wasn't their best in the 1st half. Landry and bunch missed on some deep passes that could have blown open the game. CC did turn it around in the 2nd half, led mostly by the run game. Capatina ran for over 100, but I'm not sure if he's 100% healthy yet. This is a vintage CC defense.
