Harts Defense is giving up a whopping 50 points per game. This young Pirate squad will end the year on a positive note though, with win #2 on the season. Hart 28 Leroy Pine river 24
Mason County Central ( 2 - 6 ) v. LUDINGTON ( 1 - 7 )
Nice rivalry game to end the year for two teams that could really use a win. Mason County started 2-0 and should end the year 3-6 after a win this week. MCC 24 Ludington 14
Montague ( 8 - 0 ) v. FREMONT ( 7 - 1 )
Both teams have qualified for the playoffs, now it's just a matter of playoff points and trying to get as many home field playoff games as possible. Both these teams feature pass happy Offenses, but Montague Running game should be the difference. Montague 42 Fremont 28
Muskegon Oakridge ( 5 - 3 ) v. MUSKEGON ORCHARD VIEW ( 5 - 3 )
Who'd a thought that it would come down to this for these two teams? I watched Ov get beat soundly by Fremont last week and wasn't impressed with the Cardinals. But Oakridge lost to …..Shelby? OV doesn't seem sure what to do at the QB spot while Oakridge has Jamie Potts. So I'll take Oakridge in this one. Oakridge 34 OV 20
North Muskegon ( 5 - 3 ) v. MUSKEGON CATHOLIC CENTRAL ( 4 - 4 )
Huge game for both as playoff's are on the line. MCC got a break with what amounts to a bi-week with the forfeit win in week 8. The Crusaders have the advantage of the week off to do extra scouting and preparation for the Norse. A ton of D8 schools would become North Muskegon fan's if they were able to pull this one off. And they should be able to compete in this game. The Norse however are giving up way to many rush yards the last couple weeks and Catholic should be able to exploit that again. MCC 34 North Muskegon 28
RAVENNA ( 6 - 2 ) v. Spring Lake ( 7 - 1 ) Ravenna would like a win here…. against a D4 playoff team after close hard fought losses to D5 Oakridge and D6 Montague. And let's not forget the playoff points at stake here! Win or lose this schedule should help prepare Ravenna for D7 and teams like Hudson and TCSF. I view Spring Lake as a good but not great D4 team. Ravenna should be able to get the win. Ravenna 24 Spring Lake 20
SHELBY ( 4 - 4 ) v. Holton ( 2 - 6 ) Shelby should end the season on a positive note with a convincing win over the Red Devils. Shelbys Defense has been good all year, if only the Offense could have put more points on the board. Another 5-4 season for the Tigers, which really isn't anything to be ashamed of. Shelby 34 Holton 0
Whitehall ( 4 - 4 ) v. GRANT ( 4 - 4 )
Both teams playing for pride and a winning record. Grants run D must be decent having held Fruitports Offense scoreless, plus they have played wing-t teams the last two weeks holding Tri County to 7. However, neither Grant nor Whitehall is putting a lot of points on the scoreboard. So this one should be a defensive struggle. Whitehall 21 Grant 14
