Week Nine and beware the H1N1 and seasonal flu bug. They could be more damaging then turnovers! I seriously hope these kids have been taking care of themselves and have what is for many of them, a great final game for their high school football careers. I know we get carried-away with who does and does not qualify for the playoffs but for most of the teams, this weekend completes their seasons and for the seniors, their high school careers. So let's all give them a round of thanks from us fans for all of their efforts and dedication to the sport. Have a safe and enjoyable weekend.

Notre Dame Prep vs. Ann Arbor Richard - ND Prep will be ready for this one.

Dearborn Fordson vs. Ann Arbor Pioneer - Just a feeling that Pioneer is sliding a little.

Detroit King vs. Detroit Cody - King wins.

Highland Park vs. Dearborn - Cold weather for those Polar Bears.

Monroe St. Mary CC vs. Dearborn Divine Child - Not so divine and not really children but they win.

Pontiac vs. Detroit Country Day - Too much Country Day for Pontiac.

St. Johns vs. DeWitt - Going with the safe choice here.

Grand Haven vs. East Kentwood - Wet, rainy, and windy! Bucs defense is the difference.

Grand Ledge vs. Howell - GL squeaks out another win.

Norway vs. Iron Mountain - IM seems to win when I go against them.

Muskegon vs. Holland West Ottawa - My Big Reds need to play a complete game - seen flashes of good football - now we need to see it played every down to the final horn!
