i see that the mdead people are ripping on Dearborn Fordson since they lost to a PSL team. I guess that they didn't read the posts that said that they had
2 key players out. Give me your videos from all your games, let me take out 2 players from your team, and let see how your team would fare. One such team would
be Romeo and Ben Brown. Would they be really that good without him and that's just one player on their team?

No one gets a pass with excuses on MLive. Fordson always seems to be a target because for years their fans have talked trash. 'nuff said.

It's so bizarre too - fans yapping about their team. They have no control over what goes on in the game, and in fact their ties to the program may be old
or tenuous. But when you start woofing, you leave yourself open. It's an odd dynamic that some fans have with their team.
I do think the Fordson situation is somewhat unique however. There seems to be a certain rallying point and source of pride (ethnic?) that probably doesn't exist at most other schools. But they can become a bit *ah* tiresome...sort of like the AP fans used to be over there. That is another advantage to this MB. Fans that want to 'yap' (and I mean yap) about their team have their own sub forum to do it without cluttering up the main page aka Mlive. |

Mr NCAA wrote:I think they are getting grief for losing in the first round more that losing to a PSL team. They 2 key players were also out in the first half when Fordson built a nice lead and appeared to be in complete control. It appears as though Fordson nodded off in the 2nd half thinking the game was in the bag. This brings up an interesting discussion point for Fordson critics and followers. Where was their focus, poise, and discipline in the 2nd half? This has come up alot this year on MLIVE. Fordson folks (in high volume over there) call it unfair when questions arise about such things with respect to their previosly undefeated team. In fact they call it bias and at times they call it bigotry. That really cheesed some people off. Same thing when their weaker schedule was discussed. So, no surprise that when Fordson loses early in the playoffs seemingly due to lack of focus and discipline, while giving away a big lead, many will sit back and smile. Others will gloat a bit along the way. |

I thought the Grad Blanc fans would really catch greif (maybe they are and I'm not reading those threads) after giving that Drew guy so much crap for not
ranking them in his top 10).
